Athlete's Code of Conduct Franklinville Wrestlers will: 1. Attend and be on time for all scheduled practices and meets and abide by all rules. 2. Wear attire appropriate to the sport of wrestling for practice and competition. (see rules) 3. Practice good sportsmanship and behave during practice and competition. 4. Listen to and obey all coaches during practice and competition. 5. Observe all rules as they pertain to practice, tournaments, and all other wrestling activities. 6. Be respectful to coaches, teammates, referees, opponents, and parents. Franklinville Wrestlers will not: 1. Use profane language or wear inappropriate clothing during practice or competitive activities. (see rules) 2. Talk back to or ignore the directions of Coaches or other adults charged with their care during wrestling activities. 3. Destroy or mistreat school property or wrestling equipment that has been issued to them. 4. Bad mouth opponents from other teams or use demeaning or derogatory language towards other kids. |
